Abstract

The modern world is in a state of constant transformation, marked by the fluidity of social structures, rapid technological take-off and the manifestation of global threats. This phenomenon has been called a transit society. In this context, digital technologies are positioned as a basis for self-presentation and the formation of directions for personal development. At the same time, the constant military danger and clashes in the world increase the importance of digital technologies as a lever of psychological protection. Objective. The purpose of the study is to study the influence of digital technologies on the formation of social and cultural behavior of an individual in a transitional society. Methods. The research methods were theoretical analysis of scientific sources and concepts; analysis and synthesis of leading scientific views with further systematization of key concepts; comparative analysis. Results. The study considers the main theoretical and methodological approaches to digital anthropology, the study of a transit society and the influence of a long-term threat on the dynamics of socio-cultural practices. The contextual narratives of the interaction of the individual with virtual reality, the role of the latter in the formation of the concept of self-identity are determined. A comparative analysis of the experience of different countries experiencing armed conflict is carried out in order to identify common and distinctive methods of digital development. Key areas of using digital tools to strengthen psychological endurance, stimulate social interaction and maintain cultural identity in conditions of danger are highlighted. This will allow organizing effective psychological support, coordinating social assistance, and preserving cultural traditions through online platforms for society's adaptation during a threat. Conclusions. The article substantiates that digital technologies are positioned as the main adaptive resource of the individual in the context of a transit society, providing practical support for communicative practices and contributing to the preservation of the integrity of self-identity. The practical significance of the study lies in using its results to develop digital resilience tools, improve network interaction and preserve the socio-cultural potential of society under the pressure of military and crisis factors.
