The article analyses the various forms of scientific, cultural and educational activities of the Stepan Bandera Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Museum of the Liberation Struggle and its branches, namely conferences, roundtables, presentations of historical publications, and exhibitions on the occasion of anniversaries of prominent figures or events. The author aims to analyse the scientific, cultural and educational activities of the museum at the present stage, especially in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The research methodology is based on the principles of historicism, scientificity, objectivity and systematicity. Both general scientific (analysis, synthesis, generalisation) and special historical (historical-genetic, historical-systemic) methods are used.
It is noted that the museum's researchers are authors of collective and individual publications on the history of the national liberation struggle of Ukrainians in the twentieth century. An important place in the scientific work of the museum staff is occupied by field research - interviews with participants in the national liberation struggle, witnesses of events. For scientific, cultural and educational purposes, the museum has established close cooperation with archives, other museum institutions, research institutions and universities. The museum staff conducts excursions for pupils and students, engages them in exhibitions, replenishes the collections with new exhibits, public lectures and thematic quests. The museum skilfully combines scientific, cultural and educational components with charitable activities, holding auctions to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The author concludes that scientific, cultural and educational work is an integral part of the activities of the Stepan Bandera Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Museum of the Liberation Struggle and its branches. The result is numerous exhibitions, presentations, conferences, and printed materials (monographs, articles, collections of roundtable materials, etc.). Cooperation with schools and universities helps to form a new generation of future scholars, promotes the creative development of children, increases their interest in history and, consequently, the level of patriotic sentiment.
