The article explores the role and significance of philosophy in the context of modern social transformations caused by globalization, digitalization, and the development of artificial intelligence. The aim of the work is to determine the functional and practical potential of philosophy as integrative knowledge in the context of a digital society. The methodological basis of the study is the analysis and synthesis of scientific sources, comparative and systemic approaches, as well as the generalization of philosophical concepts regarding the transformation of humanitarian knowledge in modern conditions. Results. It has been established that philosophy in modern society goes beyond the boundaries of a purely theoretical discipline and acquires the features of practice-oriented integrative knowledge. Its key functions are identified: worldview, methodological, axiological, compensatory, socially critical, and ethical, which in interaction ensure the formation of holistic thinking, value orientations, and the ability to critical reflection. The author proposes a three-component model of the functioning of philosophy in the conditions of a digital society (cognitive-methodological, value-normative and practical-reflective levels), which explains the mechanisms of its influence on the formation of critical thinking, ethical consciousness and social adaptation of the individual. Applied cases of the application of philosophical analysis in the field of artificial intelligence, digital ethics and information security are presented. It is emphasized that it is philosophy that provides a conceptual understanding of the risks of technological development and contributes to the development of responsible strategies for human interaction with digital systems. The conclusions show that philosophy is an important tool for understanding technological changes, forming a responsible personality and ensuring the humanistic dimension of digital development. It also plays the role of an intellectual mediator between technological progress and the value principles of society, which strengthens its interdisciplinary significance. Prospects for further research are related to the empirical verification of the proposed model and the analysis of ethical challenges associated with the development of artificial intelligence.
