Abstract

The relevance of the presented study is due to the need for a deep analysis of the role of philosophical ethics in the context of modern social transformations. This issue is particularly acute in Ukraine, where, amid numerous crises, there is a need for new ethical guidelines for the formation of a stable and united civil society. The purpose of the study is a comprehensive examination of the relationship between philosophical ethics, social norms, and individual moral consciousness in the context of the current crisis. Particular attention is paid to the Ukrainian experience, which allows for an analysis of the specifics of the formation of ethical guidelines during periods of social transformation. The study is based on an integrated approach that combines philosophical, historical, and cultural analysis with a case study. The philosophical analysis reveals key ethical principles, while the historical and cultural analysis examines the evolution of social norms in different contexts. The study confirms that the philosophy of ethics plays a fundamental role in shaping social norms, especially in times of crisis. An analysis of key ethical concepts (utilitarianism, deontology, virtue ethics) has identified their impact on the moral orientations of individuals and social groups. It was found that cultural, social, and political factors significantly influence the transformation of ethical norms, particularly in the context of modern Ukrainian realities. The results of the study confirm that philosophical approaches can be an effective tool for developing strategies to overcome contemporary ethical challenges. The study highlights the significant role of philosophical ethics in shaping social norms, especially in times of crisis. The analysis shows that the ethical guidelines of society result from the interaction of cultural, social, and political factors. The integration of philosophical concepts into public life contributes to the development of effective strategies for addressing modern challenges. The results open up prospects for interdisciplinary research at the intersection of philosophy, sociology, and political science, aimed at analyzing the ethical aspects of contemporary global challenges. Particular attention should be paid to studying the impact of extreme situations on the formation of individual and collective values and the development of mechanisms for adapting ethical norms to new social realities.
