Abstract

In this article, the authors substantiate the importance of pedagogical practice as an effective tool for national-patriotic education of higher education students in the process of studying history. The relevance of the study is due to modern socio-political challenges, the need to form national consciousness, civic responsibility and the ability of young people to counteract informational influences. It is emphasized that pedagogical practice is a key stage in the professional training of future teachers, as it ensures the integration of theoretical knowledge with the real educational environment and forms professional competencies.

The scientific approaches to the problem of national-patriotic education and the role of practice in the formation of the personality of a future teacher are analyzed. It is determined that an important factor is the combination of educational and educational functions of historical education, in particular through lessons and extracurricular activities. Special attention is paid to the use of interactive teaching methods (discussions, debates, project activities, analysis of historical sources), which contribute to the development of critical thinking and the formation of one's own civic position.

The educational potential of key topics of Ukrainian history, which allow forming historical memory, national identity and patriotic values, is revealed. The role of the personality of the teacher-trainee as a bearer of values and an example of a civic position is emphasized. It is proven that the participation of applicants in the preparation and conduct of educational activities contributes to the development of their organizational, communicative and reflective skills.

It is concluded that pedagogical practice is a holistic multi-component process that ensures the professional growth of the future teacher and his readiness to implement the tasks of national-patriotic education in the modern educational environment.
