The article carries out a comprehensive theoretical and methodological analysis of the phenomenon of resilience as a multidimensional existential of human existence. Based on the synthesis of Ukrainian psychological discourse by V. Klymchuk [1], T. Tytarenko [4], V. Gorbunov [3] and fundamental foreign concepts by E. Masten [9], J. Bonanno [10], B. Walker and S. Golling [11], the dynamic nature of resilience is revealed. Special attention is paid to the metaphysical and religious aspects of resilience, where it is interpreted as a modern form of “courage to be” and a tool for overcoming non-being through post-traumatic growth. The transition from individual coping to national adaptability in war conditions is substantiated.
The aim of the study it consists in a holistic theoretical, philosophical and psychological substantiation of the phenomenon of resilience as a multidimensional existential that ensures the preservation of the subjectivity of the individual and the nation in conditions of extreme crises.
The result. As a result of the research, it was found that resilience is an active position of the individual, which transforms pain into experience through the mechanisms of post-traumatic growth. It is proven that this phenomenon works on three levels: psychological, as the work of basic adaptive systems; spiritual, as the anthropological prerequisite of faith and «limiting stability» in a state of despair; systemic, as the ability of the state and society to self-organize and make a qualitative leap through the reorganization phase. It was found that resilience performs the psychotherapeutic role of «salvation without a Savior», preventing the subject from falling into nihilism.
Conclusions. The generalization of scientific approaches and theoretical concepts allowed us to reveal resilience as a universal ontological existential - a dynamic force that ensures the duration of existence through its constant self-renewal. It is the intersection point of the biological «life drive», the psychological will to meaning and religious courage. In the context of modern Ukraine, resilience has transformed from an individual skill into a collective strategy for affirming life despite the threat of non-existence, confirming the status of man as a creator of meanings even in conditions of extreme chaos.
