The article is devoted to the study of theoretical and practical aspects of the relationship between morality and law, the conflict of moral and legal values as a destructive factor that generates a situation of social frustration. In the context of the modern ideological crisis and dynamic social changes, the socio-philosophical study of problems related to the contradictions in the interaction of morality and law is of particular importance. The purpose of the article is to study the conflict of moral and legal values as a factor of social frustration. The research methodology is based on the use of a set of philosophical and general scientific methods, in particular, axiological, dialectical and phenomenological, logical-semantic, systemic-structural and comparative-historical, theoretical and legal forecasting and modeling, methods of analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, as well as the principles of determinism and objectivity, integrity and comprehensiveness, and others. Conclusions and prospects for further research. Based on the analysis, a conclusion was drawn about the conflict between moral and legal values as a powerful factor of social frustration, which manifests itself both at the individual and societal levels. Frustration in this context appears as a marker of the loss of moral legitimacy of law, indicating that the law has ceased to fulfill its main function – to be an instrument of ethical harmonization of society. It is proven that overcoming this conflict requires abandoning a narrowly positivist understanding of law in favor of an axiological modernization of the entire legal system, in which the legal norm is viewed as a logical continuation of the moral consensus of society. It is stated that the stability of society in the future will depend on the state's ability to integrate fundamental ethical imperatives into the architecture of legal norms, creating an inclusive environment in which the law protects human dignity not only formally, but also in fact. It is concluded that only through such a synthesis of morality and law is it possible to transform the destructive energy of social discontent into the constructive development of the rule of law and civil society. The prospect of further research is the collective measurement of frustration, empirical study of its level in specific social groups depending on the type of value conflict.
