On the question of forms of specification of consciousness in philosophy

Abstract

The article provides a philosophical conceptualization of the forms of specification of consciousness in the context of the interaction of its subjective, cognitive and socio-cultural dimensions. The purpose of the study is to theoretically substantiate consciousness as a multi-level phenomenon and determine the main forms of its manifestation in modern philosophical discourse, as well as to identify the possibilities of integrating different approaches to its understanding. The research methods are based on a systemic-structural, comparative and interdisciplinary analysis of philosophical concepts of consciousness. The methods of conceptual generalization, analysis and synthesis were applied, which allowed to identify the limitations of individual theoretical approaches and justify the need for their integration. Separately, a comparative analysis of phenomenological, analytical, cognitive and socio-philosophical traditions was used. The results of the study showed that modern philosophical approaches to consciousness are fragmentary and focus on individual aspects of it: phenomenology - on subjective experience, analytical philosophy - on cognitive-neural mechanisms, cognitive science - on information processing, and socio-philosophical concepts - on discursive and cultural conditioning. It was established that none of the approaches provides a holistic explanation of the forms of specification of consciousness. The main mechanisms of interaction between individual and collective consciousness were identified, including communication, interiorization, exteriorization, social identification, symbolic mediation and normative regulation. It is substantiated that consciousness functions as a dynamic system in which the subjective, cognitive and socio-cultural levels interact. The conclusions are that it is advisable to integrate existing approaches into a multilevel model of consciousness, which allows overcoming their one-sidedness. It is proposed to consider the forms of specification of consciousness as ways of organizing experience at different levels of its functioning. Such an approach creates a basis for further interdisciplinary research of consciousness and deepens the understanding of its structure in the conditions of modern socio-cultural development.
