The article examines the influence of traditional philosophical views on the political strategy of the Qing Chinese Empire and modern China from the perspective of the ontological and axiological reality of politics. The relevance of the study is due to the fact that the issue of Chinese philosophy is part of the broader context of deglobalization processes and the transformation of the international political system and the conflict of the already established concepts of globalization and unification and traditional philosophical and political teachings of Asian countries, including China. The understanding of Chinese philosophy by European philosophers and the change in their attitude to the traditional model of society over the centuries is also important.
The purpose of the study is to comprehensively analyze the philosophical and political thought of China during the Haijin policy period, its influence on the institutionalization of cultural and economic isolationism of the Qing dynasty in the 17th-19th centuries. and the interpretation of Chinese philosophy in the formation of state security in the context of deglobalization processes in international politics.
The methodological basis of the study is: inductive method, generalization method, analytical method, synthesis method, historical and philosophical method, interpretative method. They have become important tools for the argumentative proof of the rationality and cyclicality of the civilizational development of Chinese civilization.
The following results were obtained during the study. It was found that in the context of the transformation of international relations, a search is underway for new models of the existence of international relations in the context of global changes and the growing crisis of universalist views on the phenomenon of globalization. The philosophical and political views of the Chinese elite are based on Confucian ethics and have become the basis for building a unique concept of foreign relations, which today retains its relevance, both within regional geopolitics and in the context of building a security system and deglobalization processes. The attitude of contemporaries and later philosophers to the model of state structure and international policy of the Qing Empire was investigated. It was found that contemporaries tried to interpret the model of the state before the construction of European countries and had a positive attitude towards the concept of social harmony as an axiological ideal of social order.
According to the results of the study, it was concluded that in the conditions of deglobalization processes, understanding historically conditioned alternative philosophical and political concepts allows us to have a better idea of the possibility of transforming international relations in the future and to build foreign policy towards other states in the conditions of increasing regionalization trends.
