Abstract

The relevance of this study is determined by the profound transformations of visual culture and corporeality in the context of digitalization, which reshape the ways individuals perceive and construct their identities. In contemporary society, aesthetic practices are no longer limited to external enhancement but function as sociocultural mechanisms of identity formation, requiring philosophical reflection. The aim of the article is to analyze visual identity and body aesthetics as interconnected phenomena that determine the process of self-construction in the digital age. The research methodology is based on an interdisciplinary approach combining philosophical, cultural, and socio-psychological analysis, as well as methods of literature synthesis and conceptual modeling.

The results demonstrate that visual identity emerges as a multidimensional phenomenon in which corporeality acts as a space of interaction between internal self-perception and external social representation. It is proven that aesthetic practices perform not only a decorative function but also influence self-esteem, emotional stability, and social activity. Furthermore, the study identifies the significant impact of digital technologies, particularly VR/AR and artificial intelligence, on the formation of hybrid corporeality and multiple identities that combine physical and virtual dimensions. A conceptual model of self-construction is proposed, illustrating the interrelation between aesthetic practices, self-perception, and digital representation.

The conclusions emphasize that body aesthetics acquires an existential dimension, functioning as a key instrument of self-reflection and self-expression. The study provides new perspectives for the philosophical understanding of human nature in the digital era and contributes to the development of modern approaches to identity analysis within the framework of contemporary humanities.
