Abstract

The relevance of the study of Ukrainian society is due to the need for a deep understanding of the social processes taking place in contemporary Ukrainian society The study of these processes allows us to determine the main trends in the development of Ukrainian society, its potential for adaptation and further development.

The aim of the study is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the source base for the study of Ukrainian society, to identify the main directions of socio-philosophical understanding of modern Ukrainian reality in the first quarter of the 21st century.

The result. As a result of the research, a comprehensive analysis of the source base for the study of Ukrainian society was carried out, which analyzes contemporary Ukrainian society as a complex social system, which is formed under the influence of historical, cultural, political, demographic, and economic factors. The results obtained allowed to structure the sources by thematic areas, which in turn made it possible to determine the main features of the functioning and development of contemporary Ukrainian society.

 Conclusions. The generalization of scientific approaches and theoretical concepts allowed us to reveal Ukrainian society as a complex system of social interactions, which is formed under the influence of historical, cultural, socio-economic and political factors. The study showed that the social structure of Ukrainian society is characterized by a variety of social groups and institutions that ensure the functioning of society. It is determined that contemporary Ukrainian society is in a state of active transformation associated with the processes of globalization, the development of information technologies and socio-political changes. In these conditions, the development of civil society, increasing the level of civic activity and the formation of new social practices are of great importance.
