Abstract

The article provides a philosophical understanding of negative informational influences on the personality in the conditions of the information society. It is shown that negative information influences cause psychological destabilization, deep anthropological and axiological changes, which are manifested in the distortion of the perception of reality, the weakening of critical thinking, the transformation of value orientations and the reduction of the level of individual subjectivity. It is substantiated that protection from destructive information influences should be based on the development of critical thinking, reflective culture and a stable system of values. It is concluded that value orientations act as a fundamental mechanism for preserving the semantic integrity and autonomy of the individual in the modern information environment.

The aim of the study is to philosophically understand the phenomenon of negative information influences on the individual, in particular, to identify their main causes, analyze the socio-psychological and worldview consequences for a person, as well as to determine possible mechanisms for protecting the individual in the conditions of a modern information society.

The research methods. The study used a complex of general scientific and philosophical methods, in particular analysis, synthesis, generalization, systematization and comparison of scientific approaches to understanding negative informational influences on the personality. To identify the causes, consequences and mechanisms of protection, an interdisciplinary approach was used, as well as elements of socio-philosophical, axiological and hermeneutic analysis, which made it possible to reveal the influence of the information environment on consciousness, value orientations and subjectivity of the individual in the conditions of the modern information society.

The results of the study showed that negative informational influences are a complex socio-cultural phenomenon determined by the processes of mediatization of society, information redundancy, the spread of manipulative technologies, fake messages and virtualization of the communicative space. It has been established that destructive information practices can cause not only emotional and psychological destabilization of the individual, but also deep worldview transformations, which are manifested in the distortion of the perception of reality, weakening of the ability to critically understand information and transformation of value orientations. It has been proven that in conditions of information overload, the individual increasingly finds himself in a situation of cognitive vulnerability, which increases the risk of manipulative influence on his consciousness and behavior.

Conclusions. The analysis conducted allowed us to generalize that effective counteraction to negative information influences is possible provided that the individual develops critical thinking, a reflective culture and a stable system of value orientations. It is value orientations that act as a fundamental mechanism for protecting the individual, ensuring his ability to consciously and selectively interact with the information environment, preserving semantic integrity and autonomy of judgment. In this context, the problem of negative information influences acquires not only psychological, but also philosophical significance, as it concerns the preservation of human subjectivity and its ability to responsibly comprehend reality in the conditions of the modern information society.
