Abstract

The aim of this study is to provide a theoretical substantiation of methodological and methodical approaches to the study of the theology of Christian organizations within an interdisciplinary context, taking into account the contemporary transformations of doctrine, the social function of the Church, and religious identity. To achieve this aim, the study employs hermeneutical methodology for interpreting theological texts within their sociocultural context, a comparative-analytical method to juxtapose theological concepts across various confessional and regional traditions, and a systems approach to analyze theology as a complex socio-religious construct.

The article establishes that the theology of Christian organizations is not merely an institutionally and doctrinally structured system of religious knowledge, but rather a complex and dynamic matrix wherein the vectors of spiritual authenticity, dogmatic continuity, historical memory, and cultural adaptability intersect. It is argued that the traditional theological approach alone is insufficient for fully comprehending Christology in the context of the modern world. It is essential to consider the anthropological dimension of faith, ethnic and national identity, and historical contextuality. The integration of these perspectives allows for the development of a methodologically substantiated and existentially enriched model of theological cognition that corresponds to the realities of a globalized world.

The practical significance of the research lies in the need to elaborate qualitatively new methodological approaches to understanding the theology of Christian organizations within interdisciplinary analysis. This enables theology to be viewed not only as a confessional system of doctrine, but also as a conceptual resource for shaping spiritual subjectivity, cultural memory, and moral agency. Such an approach contributes to the actualization of theological heritage in the context of postmodern reality, its renewal in light of contemporary needs and challenges, and the establishment of an intellectual foundation for the restoration of meaningful interconfessional dialogue.
